Hi, I am running 7 on my Dell Dimension 4550. My CD device is a NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A that is used to burn my CD's. The other slot on my computer is running a SAMSUNG DVD-ROM SD-616T. My problem is trying to burn a CD using Windows Media Player. When trying to burn the list of songs to the cd, it usually only burns the first song then tried to finalize the CD. Sometimes, it will just spin and spin and not burn anything. I did have ITunes installed and tried to burn with it. It said it could not find a burner installed. Someone told me that there may be a conflict between the two - so I installed it. Is there anyway to check to see if there is a problem with the burner itself? I had burned CD's in the past - but that was a year or so ago. Now I can't burn anything. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
